Kellie Pickler seems to be staying “hush-hush” about her upcoming wedding.
According to Country Weekly, the bride-to-be didn’t spill many details about the upcoming nuptials during her lengthy interview with Wylie & Marty of Nashville’s WKDF. She did, however, reveal that the wedding would take place within the year and that she hasn’t found THE dress just yet. Her bus is reportedly filled with bridal magazines, so it sounds like she just hasn’t come across the right one.
She will definitely make a beautiful bride, that’s for sure!

As we previously reported, Miranda Lambert got help from some of her famous friends, Laura Bell Bundy, Kellie Pickler, and Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott, on her new video for her latest single, “Only Prettier.”
The video is set to debut on Vevo.com on Tuesday (8/3) and all other media outlets on Thursday (8/5). The video follows two rival cliques at a ’50s high school sock hop.

Just like most brides, Kellie Pickler is working hard to get her body in great shape for her upcoming wedding. Although she looks stunning to us, she admits that she’s gained a little weight this year. She tells OK! Magazine “My thing is I’m such a night owl that I’ll go through the day without eating much – hardly at all – and then at night, I’ll cram it everything in and then go to bed. That’s why I’ve gained probably 12 pounds this year.”
Seeing herself on TV made Kellie realize that she needs to cut out two of her favorites – fries and beer! “I was looking back at the CMT Awards. My grandpa was in there on the couch, and I guess they were re-airing it on CMT. He had it on, and I went ‘oh s***, I have got to step away from the beer. The beer and the fries – I’ve gotta quit.’ You’ll see pictures of yourself, or you’ll put your clothes on, and you’ll be like ‘oh, my pants are too tight, I can’t breathe.’ You notice it. I’ve gotta start cutting back. That’s one reason I’m running on coffee today.”
Although she wants to drop a few pounds, don’t bet your money that she’ll lose it by hard work at the gym. She admits “I really don’t workout. I’m not an avid gym person. I mean, you can tell. I go through stages – like I’ll be good for a short time, and then I let myself go. Then, I try and pick up where I left off and get back in the gym. It’s just a lose-lose situation for me.”
While Kellie gets ready for her wedding, she’s touring the country with Rascal Flatts on their summer tour.

Kellie Pickler, who is busy planning a wedding, recently revealed to CMT.com that she is also currently planning her fourth trip overseas to entertain the US military.
“I think it’s such an incredible learning experience,” Pickler tells CMT. “And I’ve had family that were in the service before. I have a lot of friends that are in Iraq and Afghanistan right now. That’s probably one of the wildest things — to go to Afghanistan and see someone I went to high school with or worked at Sonic with. … I feel like if I didn’t take advantage of that opportunity, I’d miss out on a blessing, and so would they.”
Pickler, who sports a star tattoo on her wrist for each of her USO Tours (She currently has three), says she doesn’t know if she’ll get another one.
“I don’t know if I’ll keep doing it because I might have the whole flag on my arm,” she replied. “That wouldn’t be a bad thing, but I don’t know that I would look very good with a sleeve. I just kind of play it by ear. My first three trips were very memorable, and even if I don’t add a star, I’m not going to forget that I went.”
One lesson Kellie has learned after her three USO tours is to pack light.
“I think the more I do it, the more I simplify what I bring,” she said. “Like any woman, I always tend to pack way too much. I remember the first time I went out there, I was taking stilettos and all my heels and all this fancy stuff. I got there and I did not take off my boots — I did not wear heels. I wore my combat boots. I was ready for battle! … You take things that are comfortable, that you can move around in, because you are jumping in and out of helicopters and these big trucks and tanks. It’s dusty and dirty. There’s just a lot of dirt. Comfort is the main thing.”

Kellie Pickler recently revealed more details about her engagement and her new “bling.”
Pickler tells People that they almost lost the ring on the day Kyle Jacobs proposed to her.
“We weren’t paying attention to the ring at all,” she says. “After I got myself together, Kyle was looking around for the ring and thought I lost it. It was in my lap but he said, ‘I thought we lost it in the sand.’ But then he picked it up and put it on my finger and we cried again and laughed again. It was the most spiritual, incredible, amazing day.”
We all know diamonds are a girl’s best friend right? So what does Kellie have to say about her new rock?
“I could care less if it was a Cracker Jack ring,” she said during an interview with Raleigh’s 94.7 QDR. “As long as I get to spend the rest of my life with [Kyle] and wake up every morning and see him, I don’t care.”
