“The year just keeps getting better and better. Charles, Hillary and I are so thankful for our families and also the family we’ve made in Nashville within the music industry who continue to support us on this crazy ride.” – Lady Antebellum‘s Dave Haywood
“And country radio…and our fans! They’ve given us the most incredible life…we definitely wouldn’t be here without them. Thanks for playing our songs and coming out to the shows…and just believing in us and our music.” – Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott
“Five nominations is absolutely unbelievable…wow! I also want to give a shout-out to our all of our buddies who are having their moment right now too. Going on this ride with other artists who you can call your friends is just awesome!” – Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley
“It’s unbelievable. I’m really shocked at some of my nominations! 2010 is definitely my lucky year.”I’ve started putting ’10′ on everything. I got engaged, now the CMAs … I didn’t even think I was eligible for nine awards!”- Miranda Lambert
“After 10 years of being in this business I finally began to tell myself that nominations don’t matter anyway… turns out that’s bull crap… Daddy likey!!!! Thanks to all!” – Blake Shelton
“It’s Country Music’s biggest night. I’ve watched my idols perform on the CMAs since I was a little girl. Walking alongside them on the red carpet is just like a dream. To see our names and pictures flashed up on the big screen with all the superstars truly was a dream come true.” – Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia
“We are so humbled and just downright excited to be nominated for CMA ‘Vocal Group Of The Year. The three of us are huge Country music fans and are honored to be in this category with some of our favorite artists. Big love and our deepest thanks to everyone for your rich support.”- Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry
“It’s such a privilege to be acknowledged alongside all of these talented artists in the ‘New Artist’ category and an honor that ‘A Little More Country Than That’ was my first single and #1 song and is being given this kind of recognition. Rory, Don and Wynn are great writers and did an excellent job putting this one together… I was driving to a writing appointment today when I got the news. My phone was ringing off the hook from my management and label and I thought ‘Oh no! Is this good or bad?’. I didn’t know the nominations were coming out today so I was a little scared. But it all ended up better than I could’ve imagined.”- Easton Corbin
“We’re both very proud to be nominated for CMA Duo of the Year again, it’s a thrill just to have our name on the same list as the other great duos in the category. Personally, I’m especially excited my husband Rory’s song is nominated in two categories…for single and song of the year. This nomination is truly a testament to not only what a great artist he is…but also what an incredible songwriter he is and has been all these years.”- Joey of Joey +Rory
“Just an unbelievable feeling, because I’ve been in Nashville a long time and been part of the community. Nashville’s been my home…I got started as a songwriter, so I’ve been in the trenches a long time and so for everybody to recognize that and give you a pat on the back and say thank you for hangin’ in there — although you had your puppies ran over a couple times. (he laughs) It is, it’s a huge honor, and for it to be the Country Music Association, and for all the members to give me that opportunity is very, very unbelievable, and I’m very excited and thankful, of course.”- Jerrod Niemann
“It was just pretty awesome for me. I mean, anytime you get nominated for anything…I’ve actually never been nominated for a CMA award before, so this is really cool for me, and especially ’cause me and Justin are buddies, so I’m sittin’ there watching who he’s reading, going, ‘Okay, I know that I have a possibility of being in this category.’ So it was cool when he said my name.” -Chris Young

Life is pretty sweet for Miranda Lambert these days. In addition to the 5 CMA nominations she received this morning, Miranda will appear on Good Morning America tomorrow morning live from NYC to announce the remaining nominations alongside Dierks Bentley. As hot as her career is right now, Miranda’s personal life is just as amazing as she prepares to marry longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton, an event that she says will happen in May of next year.
“We’re trying to figure out the final day. We can’t nail anything down right now. We’re looking at May. Next spring sometime. That’d be nice,” Miranda told Lifeline Live (via USA Today.) Blake has also said that the big day will happen in May. Miranda added “We’re taking it slow. I only get engaged one time. It kind of the fun to enjoy it. We’re not in a rush.”
As for making their marriage last, Miranda says she and Blake have what it takes. “We are fortunate that we have these amazing jobs but we really if we never sang another note, we’d be just as happy. That’s why we’re both confident our marriage will last forever. We’re going to be fine and normal when this is over,” she said.
Will the happy couple be hearing the pitter-patter of little feet anytime soon? Probably not, says Miranda. “I just can’t imagine at this point. We have a lot of dogs – five dogs, three go on the road. They’re my dogs but now they’re ours. I’m sure later on we’ll talk about having a family. I wouldn’t want to bring a kid into this crazy world right now,” Miranda said.
You can catch Miranda and Blake, along with many other stars, tomorrow night on ABC’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock beginning at 8pm.
