Black Crowes front man Chris Robinson is in the media today as he had some not-so-nice comments about country sensation Taylor Swift.
Chris told Nylon Guys magazine “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible.”
Chris continued on, saying that he doesn’t listen to very much new music these days because there are so many manufactured acts. He explained “They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same… When you have computers doing it all for you … there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality (sic).”
While Chris may not think Taylor is talented, many fans disagree and await the arrival of her next album, Speak Now, on October 25.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are slated for September 12 and as expected, many fans are wondering if Taylor Swift and Kanye West will reunite after last year’s incident. This year’s host, Chelsea Handler, recently fueled speculation when she hinted that fans may see Swift and West come together again.
Lady Antebellum recently weighed in on the situation and they say they hope to see a reunion.
“I think they need to hug it out,” Lady A’s Hillary Scott told HollywoodLife.com on August 27 at the USTA and Heineken 2010 US Open Player Party at the Empire Hotel in NYC.
“It would actually be really cool if they presented together,” added Charles Kelley. “I’m sure they’ve got something planned!’
Do you think Taylor and Kanye will come together again on the show?

After shooting the video for her current single, “Mine,” in Kennebunkport, Maine over the summer, Taylor Swift returned to that same community last night to premiere the video live on CMT. We were in attendance at the event and what a fun night it was! Set outside along the picturesque Maine coast in the summertime 75 degree weather, the scene couldn’t have been any more perfect.
Arriving alongside her video co-star (and rumored real-life boyfriend) Toby Hemingway, Taylor went inside a church on the property to meet with a couple of local children who are ill.
After spending some time with them and then changing into a gorgeous red dress, Taylor joined host Katie Cook on stage to discuss the making of the new video and how much she enjoyed her time in Maine.
On big flat screen TV’s that were set up on the lawn, CMT debuted the video that was shot around town. While fans enjoyed the video, Taylor and Katie soaked up the moment on stage dancing along to the music.
After we saw the video, we got a special treat when Toby joined Taylor and Katie on stage to discuss his role and how Taylor picked him as her co-star.
Once the CMT special was over, Taylor informed the crowd that she had her band with her and they’d love to play a few songs if we wanted them to! The crowd was delighted as Taylor sang “You Belong With Me,” “Fifteen,” and other hits. As Taylor performed, people from her camp walked through the small crowd and handed out small gifts including Taylor Swift glow sticks and key chains. A very nice gesture! Toby also walked around the crowd greeting fans, signing autographs, and taking pictures.
The night wrapped up when Taylor completed her performance, and repeatedly thanking her “new friends in Maine” who she “loves so much.”
It was such a great night… a unique experience and a great event put on by Taylor and the good folks at CMT. You can see the rest of our pictures from CMT’s premiere of “Mine” by clicking HERE.

Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to her former hometown of Hendersonville, TN to assist with flood relief efforts. The generous donation is being used to rebuild their community playground, Kids Kingdom.
It’s overwhelming,” Parks Director Dave LeMarbre said. “We didn’t expect that. We appreciate Taylor’s donation as well as all the others who have stepped up.”
The new playground is expected to be built in the spring of 2011.
