Trace Adkins To Star In Movie With Matthew McConaughey

AOL’s The Boot is reporting that Trace Adkins will return to the big screen next month when he begins shooting his role in the drama, The Lincoln Lawyer. Adkins will play a leader of a biker gang in the film which also stars Matthew McConaughey.

“[My role] is just a couple of [scenes]. I enjoy [acting] if I have time to do it,” Trace tells The Boot. “This is an easy thing to do. It takes literally three days out of my schedule. It’s something that I can do and have fun doing.”

Adkins has had previous roles in the movies, An American Carol and Trailer Park of Terror.

According to The Boot, “The film tells the story of a lawyer who conducts business from the back of his Lincoln Town Car while representing a high-profile client in Beverly Hills. ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ will also star Oscar winner Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, John Leguizamo and William H. Macy.”

The movie will hit theaters in 2011.
